Weekend of nothing...and I love it!!

Got some pictures of the kids done last Monday. This is when I thought we were getting admitted the next day and I was feeling panicky. Now that things are slowed down, I'm still glad I got them. They turned out pretty good. These are the only ones I ordered, except for an 8x10 of Andrew smiling with his blanket that we didn't scan.

Andrew is doing great. He doesn't even know there is anything going on. Except for the times he reaches for a cracker or something he can't have. Those times always make me a little sad. He hasn't been coughing near as much, and I feel like I'm getting quite a bit of nutrition down him. That little glimmer of hope that he won't need a g-tube is beginning to grow. But, I'm trying not to entertain the thought too much. I can hope, but I'm also very realistic. I believe in the healing power of God, and I pray that He would heal Andrew's little body quickly. I also trust in His unfailing plan, and we are willing to walk where He directs us.

Adorable pictures, Val! I love them! Where did you get them done? (P.S. I was accidentally on Dustin's account with the previous comment! You don't have to publish it!)

I love the pictures! Your kids are beautiful. The waiting and not knowing is by far harder than dealing with what we know. You're right to trust that God's got it all worked out. Hang on to that tenaciously. Remember that he loves Andrew even more than we do. Love you and praying for you all.

Priceless. The one with his blankie in his mouth is perfect. Allie is getting to be such a big girl :) Great pictures.

I'm so glad you blog -- I can keep up with your family. Glad to hear how Andrew - and you - are doing with the feeding thing. And, love the pics of the kids!

Hi Again Val,
Are these photos that Joyce took?
Regardless, they're adorable. Andrew is getting tall? so cute.

No Alice. These were ones from the Picture People. I haven't seen the ones Joyce took yet. I'm sure they're great!
