Allie woke up last night around 11pm and refused to go back to sleep. I tried to go in and lay her down several times and then just let her cry...didn't work. She didn't have a fever and didn't appear ill...just cranky. So I finally brought her to bed around midnight (first time ever!). Jason got home at 1:30 and she was still asleep. Unfortunately, since she is having such a hard time breathing she was snoring and snorting in her sleep like crazy and I couldn't sleep. Jason left her in bed (we couldn't bring ourselves to wake her up to move her) and I went to the other bedroom. He tried to sleep with her (again...impossible) and when she woke herself up at 3:30 he was able to put her down in her crib. She slept until 8am! However, the not sleeping well is catching up with her, and she threw a 45 minute tantrum this morning...seriously impressive!!
She is better, no fevers, and her rash looks better! There is light at the end of the tunnel!!!

So sorry that Allie is still sick. Joy has been praying for her. She keeps saying "I pray for Allie...she get better...then we can play together." It is way cute. Praying for ya!
Oh Valerie, I had no idea Allie had been so sick. How awful! She just looks so miserable, and I can only imagine how miserable you must have been as well. I'm glad she's getting better. I'm hoping for 100% very soon! Anna has been asking about Allison and would like to see her soon I think.
I've never heard of that virus. Poor thing, how awful that she has been sick for that long. I know you guys are way past exhausted. Hopefully you are on the downhill slide. Your comment on FB sounds like she is doing better. I can't believe the pictures of her rash. Really a bad deal. Bless her heart.
