TV time, and update

So Allie finally discovered TV. I try to make sure she doesn't watch too much during the day, but it has also been nice to have a few moments to myself from time to time. Her favorites are the Baby Einstein animal movies. She will also watch an occasional cartoon. So, yesterday before lunch I was needing to make a few phone calls and I moved her little table in front of the TV with some play-doh and she was set!! Currently, she is watching Handy Manny and eating her cereal. This will probably be the last time she watches it today, so I can handle a little morning toons.

On a completely separate note, if you are keeping up with Cora, go to her blog. There have been some complications. She had some fluid around her heart that is going to be drained today, but because of that, she ended up on an oscillator because her sats were dropping into the 20's. Again, for my PICU friends, they understand. For the rest of you, it's a fancy complicated ventilator that you use when you cannot oxygenate well enough on a conventional ventilator. Her family is really scared, but feel like she is getting great care in Wichita. Hopefully she will heal soon. Pray for her family. It's got to be really rough.
