Allie helping decorate the tree!
Our tree and dining room. Nothing fancy, but the tree looked great from outside all lit up!
Allie with grandma Froelich!
Gifts on Christmas day
Giving grandpa Froelich a shave. She was pretty funny!
The Christmas fish cookie! It's actually a reindeer on its side, but Mark thought it looked better as a fish!
Allie had this cute way of saying "mmm." She pulls in her arms, shrugs her shoulders and says "mmm." If you don't do it just like she does then she says "no mommy, MMM," as she repeats the motions. It's pretty funny!
Making the sugar cookies with mommy
Allie got some hand-me-down clothes that were a bit big for her, but she wanted to try them on. She was pretty silly running around in her skirt, tank top and hat!
I realized after I got home that I took very few pics at the farm. I'm not sure why that happened, maybe because I felt sick most of the time and we always seemed on the go! But, here is a cute one of Allie and Harrison.
Allie and Harrison have a cute dynamic. Basically Allie tells him what to do and he usually complies, or he just stiff arms her. She gets really excited, runs up to him, gets up in his face and says in a very serious but excited voice, "Harrison, wanna go downstairs?" All my parents toys are in their basement. Then she runs off looking expectantly behind her for Harrison to follow. He usually does! She likes to tell him what to do, but doesn't do it in a mean, bossy way. Just in a matter of fact, let's do this kind of way! She also likes to antagonize Henry, as he usually builds something out of lincoln logs and she promptly knocks it down!! He just loses it!!
By the way, if you ever want a fun game to play with a large group of people, I have the game to beat all games! I'm not sure what it's called, but we call it picture telephone. Everyone takes a stack of paper, writes down a phrase, or draws a picture and passes it to their right. The next person has to either write what was drawn, or draw what was written and continue passing doing every other action. You only have one minute to complete the task. It is hysterical as it finally makes it back to you and you see what people interpreted from person to person. I had the distinct pleasure of sitting next to my dad who cannot draw to save his life, but tries very hard. Let's just say that a phrase that started out as a little girl hugging her teddy bear ended up as a woman upset about cleaning up aardvark poop...yeah, don't ask!! I haven't laughed so hard in years!! It was an amazingly fun way to spend two evenings!!
Anyway, that may do it for a while. I'll check back in at a later date!
