It was hard to get really into Halloween this year since I worked both Saturday and Sunday. But, Allie had a Halloween party at school on Friday and we actually carved a pumpkin this year, so we tried to make it special. Allie was a tiger and Andrew was a bear. Jason got the kids ready and took them trick or treating, and then when I got home we went to a friends house and let the kids play a little. The idea was that if they went to bed later, they would sleep later the next morning. Ha!

Allie and I carving the pumpkin. No originality on my part. Just your basic eyes, nose and mouth! And yes, Allie was helping me with the knife, but she only put her hand over my hand and kept saying, "only mommy touches the knife."

Take THAT pumpkin!

Friday morning getting ready for preschool. She wore her costume all day except for lunch and nap. All the kids were so cute!
Allie growling at the camera. Jason did a great job with the whiskers and noses on both the kids, but by this time they were wearing off.

Oh, my little man!

Oh man, posing for pictures is so exhausting!
We visited the Stanglers. Liam was the saggy baggy elephant, gavin was a lion. Katie made both of the outfits...I most definitely bought mine! We took multiple pictures, but could never get all 4 kids to look at the camera at the same time. And Allie refused to smile no matter what. Oh well...they were cute!!

So Cute! I miss Halloween dress-up time with children!!
George & Amy haven't started that tradition. since we were in PA over the weekend I'm not sure if Dinah dressed up, but Dinah is probably a little young still for the event.
Those two are soooo cute!
