So we packed up the car and headed to the farm again this weekend. It was good to see everyone. My dad turned 58, and my sister was there with her boyfriend, Matt, since she was in a wedding. We stayed at Ben and Leah's this time as there wasn't enough beds at mom and dad's (and won't be until Kara and Matt are married...)! It was a good change of pace and the kids had a ball.
Looking out mom and dad's window at the kids playing. They were up taunting the cows!
At lunch time on Saturday we took food to Ben and Dad who were frantically trying to get all the corn in before the rain came. Here, the kids are waiting for Papa to bring in the combine so they can all get a ride.
Do you see him?
Yea! Here he comes!
Filling up the grain cart.
Allie's first combine ride, and my first in a long time!
Harrison staring out the window.
Henry sat up on my lap and kept wanting to take goofy pictures!
"I'm the king of the world!"
Andrew and Heath after church on Sunday
We tried and tried for a good pic, and this was the best we could do. Sorry guys, I really should have put the camera up higher...but we were all so hungry!!
Sunday evening I took the kids down to road to the little pond to throw in rocks. They had the BEST time looking for the biggest one!
Whoa, that was a pretty big rock!
"Every body show me your rock!"

I found a caterpillar under a rock and Henry snatched it up. I'm not sure it was alive, and it most definitely was not after he chucked it into the water.
We had a great visit! We will do it again at Thanksgiving and get to celebrate Allie's 3rd birthday on the farm!

Great pictures! The one of the whole family really isn't too bad considering all the bodies we had to jam in front of the camera. Can't wait to spend more time at home on Thanksgiving!
