So once again...craziness has ensued around the Froelich household. I told Jason tonight that I want money for Christmas, and that it will all be pooled to hire us a housekeeper. I don't know when the last time I cleaned bathrooms...sorry for anyone who has been over lately! I thought I'd put a few pics up of Allison. She's getting so big and so independent. Everything is "me do it!" or "Allison do it!" It was cute for a few weeks, now it borders on irritating, but she is growing up in front of our eyes and I'm loving every minute of it. These are some pics of her "cooking" with mommy. I have to prepare myself for our cooking sessions and make sure I have plenty of stuff for her to do without interferring with actual dinner. The bowl below is my "trash bowl" where I was dumping peelings and scraps. I had to be careful because at one point she had picked up an apple core and was eating it...yuck!

The next few pics are of Allie painting pumpkins. I got the idea from my friend Katie who had her son do it a few weeks ago. She had a good time for about 5 minutes then decided she wanted to sweep the garage. We were in the garage because it was a bit cold and rainy out today. It's frustrating when she has these short attention spans. It took me longer to set up the pumpkins and paint than it took her to actually paint...but she seemed to have a good time and had fun telling daddy all about it when he got home.

And this is just a beautiful dinner face! I think her cheeks are stuffed with food. She's actually eating better these days. Tonight she had some mashed potatoes with her chicken nuggets. And, she actually tried a bit of meatballs before she spit it out and said "yucky!" Believe me, that's progress!

Anyway, we're hanging in there. Looking forward to the holiday season when we get to take a break from the house and school. I'm going to one day a week in November and I'm definitely looking forward to that. I'm just plugging along and hoping that this year goes quickly!!
Hope you all have a great week!
Valerie

Hi Val,
Oh, please don't talk about holidays already...I am SO NOT ready!!!
I haven't had much "blogging" time. My blog hasn't been updated since August. I've been busy re-building my computer after a crash and then doing some projects for the church. Everything takes so much time.
THEN, foolish me, I "volunteered" to be a Poll Watcher for early voting and on election day.
We should be Pray, Pray, Praying for our country right now!!
Val, Your little cutie is growing up. "I do it" will be her mantra for many months.
Holidays? Oh my! We are waiting to hear if Chellie & Jeff will be back in Kansas City area by Christmas. Jeff still hasn't heard whether the Navy will release him Dec. 19th - his 20 year retirement date.
Work has been tough for me as well. So busy and some sad news with friends there. Please pray for our call center manager, Tina. She has pancreatic cancer.
Tomorrow is a big day. We will find out the sex of Lori and Brian's baby. Can't wait.
