What's new

Life around here has been manageable lately. I only have 4 more clinical days left and a few assignments for class. One of which is a big paper...but I do pretty good with that. Jason and I haven't really spent much time together and I think it's taking a toll. Sometimes I just feel like we aren't on the same page...but part of that is we don't spend time together at home until after Allison goes to bed, and then he's been busy working from home due to the overwhelming amount of stuff going on at work. They really need to hire another manager. Jason is struggling to do the job of two people and manage all the staff on his own. The new director keeps hinting at getting someone, but I don't think it will be for a little while. So, in the meantime we're making do.

We had Katherine and Dylan over for dinner the other night. Allison thought it was so much fun to feed Anna cheerios. I actually have a short video, but it doesn't do it justice. It was pretty funny. Anna loves to eat cheerios out of the container. At one point Allison was picking up the whole container to feed it to her. Pretty dang cute.

I don't know why I was thinking about this, but here is Allison exactly one year ago. Can you believe how fast time goes!! I always thought she was so cute, but even looking back, she's even cuter now. She has so much personality and is talking to me like crazy. We are very close to about 50 words that she can say or repeat consistently. Just for a reference, children by the age of 18 months should say 10 words...she's only 16 months. Ok, ok, enough bragging. I just finished reading something my friend Katherine wrote about her daughter not crawling at 10 months. It is very well written and I think she ought to submit it to Parenting magazine or something like that. Go to the Kruger family link to read it. It's kind of long, but so well put together.

Here is a cute video of Allie and Jason. She now loves to do push ups which is pretty funny. Somehow she saw Jason doing some and thought it looked like fun. This video only shows a part of it because she ended up stopping to just watch Jason and then got distracted by something outside. But, she's just a riot when she does it. She even will say "push up" and then go find a spot to do them!! Just as a side, by the time this video was taken, Jason had been doing quite a few push ups and he was quite tired!!

Have a great day everyone!
