So Jason left Sunday night for Easton, Pennsylvania, and his brother, Mark, kept Allison for the afternoon while I was working. Mark is such a great uncle. He got her down for a nap, fed her dinner, gave her a bath, gave her a bottle and put her down to sleep. It was great to have someone helping out.
Today Allison and I just hung out. I always go shopping for Alpha on Monday's but that was all we did. Right now the kitchen is a wreck from making pancakes for dinner (it sounded good) but I've just been taking it easy today. I actually got a nap in during Allison's morning nap.
We played a game this afternoon where I would throw a blanket over her head and pulled it off. It made her hair stand up with the static. I got some great pics. And yes, I did run to get the camera halfway through so I could take pictures. My aunts laugh at how quick I am with the camera...but I always keep it close!
Her hair was just so crazy! It was pretty fun!
She' such a great kid, but sometimes I don't feel like I spend enough time just focusing on her. I always seem to be trying to do something else. I need to just enjoy the time we have together because she's growing up so fast. At the same time, I think I'm ready for the next stage. I know, I know, I say that but I'm going to miss her this age. But seriously, I feel like we've been in this phase for a while. I'm ready for her to walk and talk to me. I want to know what she's thinking and hear her say words to me! She's got such a great personality I can't wait to experience it more!!
Have a great evening everyone!

That is such a riot. Funny, funny. She's having a great time!!!
Those are some of the best photos I've seen. How fun!! I have been working on just talking with and playing with Jonathan... it is hard to not multi-task, isn't it?
Enjoy the cutie pie!
Hey, if you played that game every morning, you wouldn't have to worry about ponies or barrettes--her hair would stay out of her eyes all on its own!
Such a cute little stinker. Great pictures.
Thanks for your comment... I think one day a week would be ideal. However, we don't have that option right now since we know no one for childcare. So, I appreciate this season and the chance to hang out with the little man. And, I work on my multi-tasking. Have a good one!
It's been a few days since I've visited your site. What wonderful pictures. You and Jason are doing a great job. Alli is adorable!
