Allison was playing in front of the fire place last night. It's a pretty high step, but she manages to get up there. I thought this video was cute and shows the determined spirit of my daughter.
I really thought she'd be walking by now. She will free stand for several seconds, but always drops herself slowly to her knees and crawls away. I know that developmentally it's still on the early side (she's 10 months today) but she's been cruising for so long that I really thought she'd be doing it by now. Oh well, I get to keep her a baby for a little while longer.

"Determined." Now there's a trait that means trouble. I know all about "determined" women. I think Jason can help me out here...
I believe I heard Mommy laugh after that tumble at the end. She's needing some kisses, hugs and squeezes she's just too cute.
It's amazing how many times she wipes out in a day. And she usually doesn't want a cuddle when she's done. She just keeps on moving.

Your trip to Chicago with a friend sounds just wonderful. I'm glad you're doing that! I know you'll share pictures and reports so I'll look forward to them.
I'm so glad you started this blog thing. I'd sure like it if you got some of your cousins started on it too! I check them every day to see what's new.
