Long overdue

I waited way too long to post anything, and now I'm tired and ready to go to bed, so here's something short. Life is starting to get busier. On Monday nights is BSF (a bible study where we're reading Matthew), on Tuesday nights I cook for ALPHA. So far Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights are free, but Jason is thinking about starting a Wednesday night bible study at church. I work Saturday and Sunday. Plus, we're trying to find a day care that will take Allie part time (one day a week) starting in January so I can do clinicals for school. But, this is what we signed up for, we're just trusting that God is faithful to see us through it. Here are a few pictures.


We played outside on the deck the other day. She just wanted to eat the leaves, but it was fun!See, here are the leaves that she wanted to play with. I had just trimmed the bushes and she loved the evergreen leaves.
Aren't her little shoes cute. Her robies are still a little small, but they're so dang cute!

Allison is growing up so fast. She's still not walking, and I'm just fine with that. Once that happens life gets busier. She eats ok, but we're still working on picking foods up. She'll pick anything up, but she inevitably squishes in in her hand before it gets to her mouth. And, if we don't make it soft enough, she can't chew it well because she still only has 2 teeth. But, she's still growing just fine. She's waving hello and bye bye all the time now. She's been doing bye bye for a couple weeks, but just started consistently doing hello in the last few days. We're also pretty sure she's saying "hello." Of course it comes out sort of like ahwaa, but it is always after I say it, and when she's waving hello to someone. So, while it's not the correct pronunciation, I think it's close enough to be her first word!
