Last weekend, my mom and sister-in-law brought the boys to hit up a pumpkin patch. We went to Faulkner Farms. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. We didn't even get to pumpkins - there was so much for the kids to do.
Petting/feeding farm animals...
Little train ride around the property...
We ate lunch outside the farm at a little picnic table and headed home for some quick naps. Jason and I then took the kids to Allison's fall party that was out at a ranch around 191st and Antioch. Mom came with us. It was great! Kids rode horses and we took a hay rack ride. We couldn't stay long as we had a dinner party to attend - sheesh!
Allison dressed up as Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates...
Andrew did not dress up, but he was sure cute on that horse...
Hay ride with her preschool class. Stopped to take some pictures on some big round bales.
Allison and little Caitlin...
From there, we had just enough time to run home, change our clothes, and head to a dinner party at a friend of Jason's who is in the EMBA program with him. They are a Pakistani couple who made some amazing food!! Leah had taken the kids up to the Legends to do some shopping, and my dad and brother joined my mom at the house late as they were cutting beans that morning. By the time we got home, we were absolutely exhausted! But, church the next day, let the cousins play, and some relaxing time at home that evening. Made for a great weekend!
