Christmas - part 1 - finally!!

So, I finally figured out the problem. Christmas Eve was the first chance I got to use my camera. I hadn't changed the settings and they were set to very large, ultra fine, which makes the size too big to do more than 2 or 3 pictures at a time. What started out as 3 posts, turned into many more. My apologies.

We had such a good time with my family. Kara and Matt were in from Nashville, and I can honestly say it was one of the funnest (not a word, I know), Christmases ever. We were exhausted - going to bed at midnight every night will do that, and sleeping in the same room with your son who wakes up at 6am will make it 10 times worse.

We spent Friday morning in Newton visiting Jason's grandmas (yet another post I haven't gotten to!). Ben and Leah spent Christmas Eve with her family so the rest of us hung out in the basement with the kids (pictures in next few posts) and then played Yahtzee until we were exhausted.

The gifts were perfect, the company was even more perfect, and I was reminded of all the blessings in our lives. Dad attempted to read the Christmas story Saturday morning. He got all the way through it, but we didn't get to talk about much else as the kids were whispering (which turned into full on whining) to open presents. So, we dug in.

What a great time!

Enjoy all the pictures!!
