The sun is up. Get up, Matt. It is Big Kid Day!
Get a bag. Get on the bus. Big Kid Day will be fun!
Matt has Miss Kit. Miss Kit has Grade 1. But where is it?
Matt looks. Matt is sad. Big Kid Day is bad.
Matt sees Dan. Dan is his friend. Dan has Miss Kit.
Sit on the rug. Look at the map. Big kids do not nap.
Get a bag. Read A Big Pig. Run, tag, run.
Hug Miss Kit. Get on the bus. Grade 1 will be fun!
The books that kids start off with are pretty silly, but she is doing such a great job. She has a really good preschool teacher that really works with the kids. We practice at home every night, and each time she reads I am amazed at the words she knows. What a big girl!
