I've become "that" mom. The mom that takes out her camera and snaps furiously as my decked out daughter sings "Away in a Manger" in the cutest possible way. And you know, I don't mind being "that" mom.
We had a Christmas concert at the church last night. It was amazing, to say the last. Great singing, wonderful decorations. Lots of fun. The kids sang a song in the middle and I couldn't stand the adorable-ness of it all. Originally Allison had said that she wouldn't get up on stage, but after some mild manipulation of her idea of being a "big girl," she conceded. But only if Anna would too. Curiously enough, the Krugers were using the same coercion on Anna...who would only stand up if Allie would. Voila! Success!

Blurry, but you get the idea. Goofing off before the concert starts.

Lining up before practice.
Allie giving Anna a pep talk.
They were so cute!!!!!

These girls were cracking me up. They were just sitting there gazing at Anna play the violin. HA!
Adorable!
Goofing off. She kept wanting to ride the donkey. So tempting!
Ring-around-the-rosey! The kids looked so great. Not many chances to get that dressed up. They had a great time.
The actual concert. They did so good!
