Tubes

So Allie had her appt with Dr. Mellick today. I was right, her right ear drum ruptured yesterday...oh and the reason her ears have looked so weird...her left one is also ruptured! So, from one ear infection that has lasted over a month and required 4 antibiotics and perforated both her ear drums, we are buying ourselves a trip to the ENT doc! I don't know that tubes will be necessary. It could be that her ear drums heal up by then and her fluid is gone, but we're not taking any chances. We are scheduled for April 3rd which is great considering Children's couldn't work us in until the very end of April. We'll be seeing Dr. Eyen who is a very nice ENT doc who has a private clinic that operates out of Menorah which is right around the corner from my house. He also sees patients at Children's and I've seen him several times in the unit. He's a very nice guy and I'm excited that I get to see him and that he got us in so quickly! Now I won't have to try to call in favors to make Children's see me sooner (not that I really had any favors to call in!!). Allie is feeling better now that her ears have popped. No more pain! She's napping now and I'm going to try to get a start on the paper that is due in a few weeks for school.

On another note, here's an update preggo pic. I just took it this AM. I'm almost 30 weeks, and doing well. Not quite ready for this little guy to be born. I have too much on my plate. But I can't believe that in just a few short weeks I'll be done with school and be able to settle in as a mom.

Enjoy the weather!!

Glad Allie's feeling better. Poor kid.

P.S. Finally finished doing the laundry today so I have your sweater to give back to you. Sorry I've had it so long!
