better

So, I continued to have some significant spotting throughout the day yesterday. My OB wanted to see me so I went in yesterday afternoon. Allie was at daycare all day and I just rested. The sono looked good. She couldn't see where the bleeding was coming from, so she just told me to take it easy. I'm skipping work tomorrow and Jason's parents are coming into town this weekend to help us out. I'm very grateful. Especially since I've been pretty nauseous since last night. I threw up last night and felt better, but I still feel off. I'm good enough to go to a Christmas party for Jason's work tonight. Hopefully that goes well. We got a babysitter for Allie. Anyway...the doc said she couldn't even say that I'm at an increased risk for miscarriage, because everything looks great. There's no tear in my placenta, the baby is measuring great with nice heart rate. So...looks like I'm just a bleeder this time around. It's interesting, because this morning I also got a bloody nose. I know that pregnant women have 2-3 times the circulating blood volume as normal women, so, the dry weather coupled with more vascularity makes sense for the bloody nose...I guess I'm just leaky!! Jason has been great, and really Allie has too. I sent her to Beth's again today for a couple hours this morning. I brought her home, fed her lunch, and put her down around 1:30. I woke her up at 5:15.  I know, she may stress me out in other ways...but she is a sleeper!

So, thanks to all who are praying for a healthy pregnancy. So far, the bleeding doesn't mean a whole lot and baby and I are just fine. I have a regularly scheduled appointment Monday so hopefully by then I'm done bleeding. I have an appointment in January to find out what the baby is....I can't wait!!
