Prayer

Our family could really use your prayer right now. My mom's mom is being sent home from the hospital on hospice. She has been in a nursing home the last several months and has deteriorated some over the last weeks. She ended up in the hospital this week with a bad tooth abscess. Evidentally she's not recovering from it well. She is still lucid, even though she can't speak. But she was able to make her wishes known. She does not want to go back to the nursing home, and she does not want her tube feedings restarted. She is being transferred to KC today to be at my aunt's house. My mom and her family will stay with her until she passes. This is a really sad time. I will be delaying my trip to Fargo to see my good friend so I can be here for my mom. I know this will be hard on her, even though she has been saying good bye to her mom for a long time. Grandma had a joy filled life, but the last 5 years have been really hard on her. I remember her telling me several years ago that she was ready to go home and see Jesus. Now she gets to go see her saviour. So, if you would be praying for an easy passing, and for strength for my mom.
