Jason spent some time catching fireflies in the backyard this summer. The kids loved it. Considering they're both a little squeamish of bugs, this was a good way to get them into it.

Jason grabbed a clean pickle jar and poked some holes in the top. The only problem was he poked the holes too big. So, Allison sat and held her finger over the hole. Ha!They were both upset that we let the fireflies go. Allison wanted to keep them in her room all night so they could be her night light. Great summer memories.
