Allison's preschool teacher (Miss Leah) brings different instructors from the community in to teach the kids. She has music, art, yoga, move and grow, and martial arts. Friday, we went to the studio where sansei Mike teaches. It was really neat to see what the kids do during the day. They have a 45 min. class twice a month. He teaches different karate moves, as well as stranger danger, respect for others space and how to be in control of your emotions. It's really cool.
Miss Leah reading the kids a book before class. Look at Allie's hand resting on her knee. Leah rode to the class with us and Allie was telling everyone, "Miss Leah got to ride in my car!" She loves her teacher.
Sansei Mike trying to get her to focus instead of looking at all her friends. She's easily distracted.
And of course, Big Tuna (we got that from The Office and call him that regularly. I'm afraid it's going to stick). Here he's doing what we call, "the Costanza." (remember the Seinfeld episode where George takes shots of himself lounging on a couch...so sultry! HA!)
Met with ENT for Andrew's ears on Friday as well. There was no current infection, but they were full of fluid so we decided to do tubes. Then, last night he started running a fever and vomited several times. He didn't sleep well and when I looked in his ears after I got home from work they were full of pus. (infection number five since 2/1/2010) So, we ran back up to the office and Dr. Mellick met us there for him to get his first of three Rocephin shots. Poor thing. I will say it's nice to be a provider in his pediatricians office. I get all the perks of sample antibiotics and can meet a nurse at the office for shots. So nice!! He's already feeling better after a 3 hour nap this afternoon. I finally woke up at 6:30!
