After our day of Disney, we had a day of rest. This was a rough day for Jason and I. We were really tired and I had a hard time checking my attitude. The kids were doing so great, I was just exhausted already and just wanted to sleep.
We swam in the morning and took naps. Afterwards, we headed back to Downtown Disney and walked around. We already knew about the fountains and came prepared with a change of clothes. We ate there and let the kids have more freedom. Running around and getting some energy out.
There was this giant balloon that we had seen the first night we were there that Allison really wanted to fly in. We had said we would do a ride for the kids this night, but unfortunately, it was a little too windy and they had shut it down for the evening. Bummer! It would have been great! Of course, pregnant women can't ride, so I would have been down below with the camera - but still disappointed.

Our fourth day in Orlando was Sea World. Man, was it hot! The hottest day yet! It was the 4th of July and we expected it might be crowded, but it wasn't bad at all. We got there when it opened at 9 am. Unfortunately, there wasn't a shuttle to take us there, so it cost almost $40 each way to get there. Consequently, we didn't think it would make sense to go home for naps and come back in the evening. That would have made for $160 just in travel!
First things first, we fed the dolphins. Already, the kids were starting to sweat. It was so humid! They had a great time, but some if it was stifled by the heat.
They gave us little paper boats of small fish that you held out for the dolphins. They would swim right up and you could pet them. So cool.
They loved the shows. Allison's favorite part was the people who would float down from the stage and either dive or do tricks into the water. And she liked the dolphins too :)
Sea Lions were next. Not the favorite, but the kids got to feed them too. Unfortunately, Andrew couldn't throw far enough to make it across the gap between him and the Sea Lions. Oh well. The birds mostly ate the fish he threw. We wanted to hit up the underwater shark observatory (which I have no pictures of because it was too dark and they didn't turn out well) and then headed to feed the sting rays. I loved the rays, but the kids were a bit squeamish. Again, small boats of fish and you could coax them up and touch them. They feel so cool!
We headed home around 3pm and took some naps (after we stripped off our nasty soaked clothes). We ate a late dinner at the hotel and tried to figure out what to do. Since it was the 4th, we knew there would be good fireworks, but it was too late to try and go anywhere. The hotel we were at had a big pool and lazy river, and all week they were playing movies poolside. That night was Toy Story 3. Jason got in with Allison for a late night swim while I waded with Andrew and watched the movie. Afterwards, we headed to our room and caught the fireworks over Downtown Disney from our hotel room. The pics aren't great, but it was a good show and we had a perfect view...all from the comfort of our hotel room! Andrew kept saying, "boom, castle" like he had before. He definitely remembered the fireworks over the castle at Disney.Slowly getting there. One day left :)
