Crafts!

The snow that hit a few weeks back made for some really bored Froelichs. We pulled out the craft box and went to town. Day one consisted of a few collages and making some coffee filter butterflies.

Cutting with her new big girl scissors.

And yes, I did help her cut out the shapes and decide where to put them.

Allison dying her coffee filters. She had a great time.
Used a tylenol dropper and some water colored with food dye.

The finished product. I twisted some pipe cleaners around them
to make the butterflies.

The finished product! Put some magnets on the back and hung them up!

The next day was still snowy...and we were still bored.
Time to do something with the butterflies.
Andrew was feeling left out!

I glued some paper plates together and Allie and I glued some
tissue paper to the bottoms of them.
Remember doing this in grade school? Took me back!

Hung the butterflies from the flowered plates.
'Course, it was snowing and I didn't want to leave the house, and I didn't have string...
so we used dental floss! HA!
It looks cute hanging in her room.

Of course, now it's Valentine's Day.
Allison needed a box for school last week. Once again, the craft box came out.

After the construction paper hearts came the glitter.

Of course, all of these crafts only last so long. The set up and clean up are nearly most of the battle!

I'm impressed with your "craftiness"! You guys made some fun stuff and I love when moms aren't afraid of the mess! :)
